Californian rock quartet AFI (A Fire Inside) have just announced a brand new national Australian tour. The band will hit Aussie shores in September to play five dates across Australia. This will be the bands first tour on our soil since their sprint with the once loved alternative music festival Soundwave back in 2014. And they don’t tour Australia regularly, so this is one tour to get goosebumps over. Joining them are English rockers Basement and our very own legends from Newcastle Introvert.
The tour comes just months after the release of their latest album Selftitled, also known as The Blood Album, the first release in 4 years since the 2014 release Burials. Even more impressive is this marks their tenth studio release and they’re still going strong. AFI hit our hearts back in 2003 with the release of their album Sing The Sorrow and they have done nothing but impress fans ever since. It is inevitable that fans across Australia will be going next level crazy for these golden tickets when they go on sale May 15. And playing at Eatons Hill Hotel is a guaranteed amazing gig, so no doubt this will be a sell out show. Be sure to get your hands on one as soon as you can, don’t take your chances on missing out on something this special.
AFI will play Eatons Hill Hotel Brisbane on 16 September.
Tickets on sale 9.00am local time Monday 15 April at tickets.destroyalllines.com
