Scottish trio Biffy Clyro have finally announced an Australian tour for late April of 2018. It has been over three years since the lads hit Australia for a headline tour, when they toured here in support of their album ‘Opposites’.
This time around they will be here to showcase their most recent album ‘Ellipsis’ which was released back in July of 2016. Since then they have toured the world extensively, treating fans all around the world to a brand new set of tunes and their high energetic shows that they are so well known for.
Ellipsis hit the ARIA charts at #15 on its debut and features some of their best singles to date, such as ‘Flammable’ and ‘Wolves of Winter’. The album has been marked as their most successful to date, receiving nominations such as “Best British Group” and “Best Headliners” at the NME Awards.
Biffy have become a British icon, playing headlining sets at Reading/Leeds festivals in Britain more recently. So take that as you will, but I can promise you this is not going to be a show to miss.
Biffy Clyro will play Eatons Hill Hotel Sunday 29 April. Tickets go on sale 10.00am Wednesday 25 October via Secret Sounds.
