BIGSOUND is the biggest music industry event in the Southern Hemisphere and certainly offers up one of the most sought after performance slots in an emerging artist’s calendar. And that’s mostly because of its incredible audience of local, national and international music industry delegates.
Australian artists have the rare chance to perform in front of that audience at the event, which this year funs 3 – 6 September.
Celebrating its 17th year, BIGSOUMD has grown to be one of the biggest annual events of its type. Over four massive days, delegates meet, talk and listen to some of the most innovative thinkers and big picture ideas people in the music industry, but then when the sun sets and the Valley truly comes to life, you’re experiencing the best live music on offer in this country right now.
And if you put yourself forward to showcase, your career could be propelled the way that Courtney Barnett, Stella Donnelly, Tash Sultana, The Jezabels, Gang of Youths, Flume and DMA’s was.

And if we haven’t quite convinced you… by playing BIGSOUND you’re also int he running to share in $120,00 worth of cash through the Levi’s Music Prize. Launched 2017, the annual prize awards four BIGSOUND artists $25,000 plus $5000 in travel support to help them achieve their export goals.
