Byron Bay Bluesfest loses Ben Howard and announces new additions

It has been a day of mixed emotions for Byron Bay Bluesfest fans, with the festival announcing the loss of musician Ben Howard from the line up. Howard’s management have cited set reorganising as the reason for pulling out, and the delay to his Australian tour by 2-3 months. As he has recently finished up his international touring schedule Howard has decided to add new music and change up the show to ensure the best gig experience for his Aussie fans.

All is not lost though! Filling in the gap left by Ben Howard are some amazing Aussie bands, with the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, Boy & Bear and Sticky Fingers added to the 2015 lineup – with a Thursday set added for hip hop group Jurassic 5. One thing Bluesfest organisers do superbly is reshuffle lineups at a moments notice, ensuring that punters are satisfied no matter what behind the scenes dramas go on.

For Ben Howard fans the artist has added a Brisbane show to his Aussie tour, with dates and venues to be announced. To see the new time slots head over to the Byron Bay Bluesfest website and keep an eye on this space for updates on Ben Howard’s new tour dates.
