There are three minuscule weeks standing in the way of Beliebers catching Pop king Justin Bieber live in Australia once again. Armed with an array of fresh multi-platinum selling singles such as “Love Yourself”, “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry”, Bieber will be pleasing fans with a packed twenty song setlist loaded with tracks from his four solo albums.
If that isn’t enough to push pop fans over the edge, then the addition of Dutch producer Martin Garrix and Aussie band Sheppard should do the trick. While Martin Garrix is gathering accolades left right and centre, the Aussie band Sheppard are still riding the waves of their gargantuan single “Geronimo. Lead vocalist George Sheppard cannot be more excited for the March tour.
“We’ve done some huge shows overseas like Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza in the states, Summersonic in Japan and V Festival in the UK, but this will be the first time we’ll have the chance to play shows of this size here at home. To be able to do it with an artist like Justin on his album tour for what I think is one of the best pop records of the decade, is a real honour for us,” Sheppard explains in a press statement.
Bieber’s Purpose tour has already completed its rounds in Europe and America, garnering rave reviews for the 22 year old. Rolling Stone were quick to say that the “concert was sublime vocally, visually and musically”, while Entertainment Weekly touts this tour as a return to form for the American star.
