A brand new Australian film tour is coming to the Gold Coast and it promises to be an epic overdose of women in adventure.
Wild Women adventure overdose: The 2017 Dirty Girls Adventure Film Tour hits The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Monday 24 July for one night only.
The tour will present nine short films that showcase the strong and inspirational adventure women of the outdoor world.
You’ll meet Britains first female mountain Guide, 91 year old Gwen Moffat, you’ll ski fresh powder and surf frozen waves in Japan, you’ll hike solo for 18 days over 430km in the back country of the Sierra Navada with Kalen Thorien. You’ll meet Finnish fervid Johanna Nordbald as she takes the plunge under arctic ice and discover where the wild woman play with professional adventure photographer and film maker Krystle Wright.
This is self-prescribed escapism. Join us to celebrate wild women who don’t mind getting a little dirty in their pursuit of adventure.
