Catch Tween Film ‘Rip Tide’
Disney sensation Debby Ryan (‘Jessie’, ‘Radio Rebel’), makes her Australian film debut alongside fellow Disney regular Naomi Sequeira (‘Hanging with Adam & Naomi’, ‘The Evermoor Chronicles’), in the perfectly-pitched tween feature, ‘Rip Tide’. ‘Rip Tide’ explores the culture of surfing, romance, and the life experiences and decisions facing the youth of today, especially young women. After a humiliating modelling incident, Cora books a one-way ticket out of New York, final destination: Australia. Expecting a five-star holiday with her Aunt Margot, Cora realises all too late that her idyllic beachside retreat has no internet access and is miles from the nearest city. With the thought of the vicious world awaiting her back home, Cora feels trapped, but as time goes by, friendships bloom and romance sparks between Cora and handsome Tom.
