Ella’s back and about to embark on east coast tour

Soon to release her debut EP recorded in the renowned Brighton Electric Studios (UK), with a B-Side track recorded in Paris with Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, REM), acoustic musician Ella Fence will give her fans a sneak peak of the new songs during her Join the Journey prerelease tour.

A little cloud with a lot of thunder, Ella Fence will visit Sydney, Melbourne, the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and of course, her hometown the Gold Coast.

With performance experience already spanning from France, to England, to Norway, she is not to be missed. Yeah, we’re kinda big fans here at Blank.

Ella is a powerful acoustic-folk musician, who studied at the Queensland Conservatorium and upon completion in 2011, took her music to Europe where she continued to flourish as an inspiring artist.

Feeling at home in the multicultural city of Oslo, Norway, Ella performed at venues including the Nordic Black Theatre. The exposure from this led to an interview and performance on the National Norwegian Radio station ‘Radio Norway’.

After her headline tour of Hobart, Ella returned to Europe to work on her debut EP and is excited to reveal these new songs in her upcoming pre-release tour.
“I had Ella come up onstage and plug in her Martin and do a song of hers… with her wild, feral swooping voice. Then I politely borrowed her acoustic and we did Doesn’t It Remind You of Something, and she was, of course, brilliant,” said Ken Stringfellow (REM, The Posies).

Ella hits Miami Tavern this Saturday 18 October. Get other tour dates at ellafencemusic.com
