Flickerfest’s national tour, celebrating 25 years of hot shorts, is underway and heading for the Gold Coast on Friday 19 February.
Screening a fantastic array of don’t-miss shorts, Flickerfest’s Best of Australian Shorts programme features films from some of Australia’s best filmmakers including Academy® Award winner Adam Elliot with his delightful animation Ernie Biscuit. From just south of the QLD border comes Nan and a Whole Lot of Trouble, a humorous take on families and death, from indigenous rising director Dena Curtis. And to cap it off, QLD-made animationThe Meek will also feature, showcasing local talent Joe Brumm.
