Five of the Gold Coast’s top chefs will come together to cook up a feast for one night only as The Oracle is transformed into a gourmet paradise for The Twilight Table, a unique long table dining event celebrating some of the best food and wine the Gold Coast has to offer.
In what is set to be the gourmet dining event of the season, The Oracle’s picturesque streetscape will come to life for the special event on Sunda 15 July.
Mecca Bah, Mamasan Kitchen and Bar, Bavarian Bier Cafe, The Cuban and Social Eating House will take part in the dining event with each venue creating a separate course to prepare and serve.

Diners at the event will firstly be transported to the streets of Morocco with renowned Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant Mecca Bah serving canapes to kick start the evening.
Following Mecca Bah’s offering guests will have their taste buds tantalised by the flavoursome creations served by Mamasan Kitchen and Bar.
Mamasan Kitchen and Bar head chef Ray Choi has a unique skill of blending traditional and modern cuisine from South East Asia and for The Twilight Table he will illustrate the unity of his skills by serving Scorched Hokkaido Scallops and Squid with Nori Mayo, Squid Ink, Edamame and Yuzu Curd.
Mr Choi said his inspiration for the dish came from the abundant availability of fresh ingredients.
“I love to cook with top notch ingredients from Asia, where I came from combined with the finest ingredients from Australia, where I have been living for the past decade,” said Mr Choi.
“My talented chefs and I will create this dish with high end quality scallops from Hokkaido in Japan where they produce the cleanest milky, sweet scallop along with fresh Hawkesbury squid from the NSW coast and locally farmed accompaniments.”
With appetites tempted, the next course of the night will be served by Bavarian Bier Cafe. Drawing on their German heritage as inspiration, head chef Edgar Ajison has especially selected a hearty Pork Belly dish sure to warm the hearts and bellies of gourmet’s in attendance. The dish will be finished with a quince and orange glaze and a silk smooth cauliflower puree.
Next up epicurean’s will experience a taste of Cuba with Spanish, Portuguese and South American influences coming through in The Cuban Bar and Lounge Dining’s decadent dishof the night, a Slow Cooked Lamb infused with the flair and flavours of Cuba.
