Head Clouds: Blowing Cool This Friday at Currumbin Soundlounge

Moodily melodic Gold Coast ex-pats Head Clouds have been building a nice head of steam over the first half of 2016, and this week sees the band who now call Melbourne home venture back up this way for a series of special live performances.

The band certainly know their way around a tune and have some serious musical pedigree, including the ever-amazing Karl S Williams (winner of the 2015 Gold Coast Artist of the Year award at the Gold Coast Music Awards) and the prolifically versatile talents of George Carpenter.

On the back of cracking new tunes Red Brick Parts and Black Ribbon, the band will be blowing into the Currumbin Soundlounge this Friday, 17 June. They’ll also be bringing Melbourne touring mates Venus Court along for the ride. Consisting of brothers Jake and Sam O’Brien, the so-called folk-pop Princes of Melbourne will no doubt uphold their end of the bargain in delivering a highly memorable evening of music. Which will be rounded out by special guest opening act, Summer Blanket.

So be sure to get along to The Soundlounge this Friday night to witness what promises to be one of those talked-about shows you’ll be real glad you got along to! And for those keen for a repeat dose, you can follow the cerebral cumulonimbus trail down to the Great Northern, Byron Bay on Saturday, 18 June.
