Living Colour hit Oz this December

New York City heavy rockers Living Colour have made their way to Oz, and they will be ready blow away any resistance to rock with their heavy screaming riffs and metal funk beats.

The band first came to prominence with their album ‘Vivid’. This time around the band is showcasing their debut album, and from rave reviews from around the globe it sounds like they are ready to rock our socks off.

Living Colour have been described as an intoxicating brew of hard, grinding rock with splashes of funk, jazz, reggae, rap, punk and even country rhythms. Songs such as ‘Cult of Personality’, ‘Glamour Boys’, ‘Open Letter (To a Landlord)’, ‘Love Rears it’s Ugly Head’, ‘Type’, and much more. The album ‘Vivid’ has some strange bedfellows on the credits; Chuck D raps on one track, and Mick Jagger played harmonica on one track, and did backing vocals on others. These guys have so many inspirations and style influences, it will make your head spin.

Catch Living Colour when they hit The Triffid in Brisbane on 20 January or The Northern in Byron Bay on 21 January 2019. Tickets here.
