Metal Gods Metallica announced today they are returning to Australia and New Zealand in October with their first ever headline stadium tour and Slipknot will be supporting on all dates.
Continuing their WorldWired tour that has played over 130 shows across the world since its 2016 kick off, the iconic band will hit Optus Stadium in Perth, Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, ANZ Stadium in Sydney and QSAC Stadium in Brisbane before heading over to New Zealand.
The long-awaited shows will be the band’s first Aussie tour since 2013 and New Zealand tour since 2010.
General public tickets for all dates go on sale from 2pm local time on Monday 18 March 2019, and for those in Sydney tickets are on sale from 3pm.
A range of upgraded tickets are available and every concert ticket purchased through official outlets includes a hard copy or a digital copy of the ‘Hardwired…To Self-Destruct’ album.
Metallica will be rocking QSAC Brisbane on Tuesday 29 October 2019 and tickets can be purchased through Live Nation here.
