Paul McCartney Announces First Australian Tour Dates In Nearly 25 Years

We all knew it was coming, he made it clear prior to the announcement. But that didn’t stop us from losing our marbles when Sir Paul McCartney announced his first tour down under in 25 years. Bringing his long running One On One tour across the globe for Australian fans to finally soak up.

Once 1/4th of one of the greatest bands to ever grace the earth, The Beatles, and now one of the most beloved and talented rockers of our age, McCartney hasn’t stopped since the day The Beatles first hit our airwaves back in the early 60s. Taking his own band Wings out into the open world after the demise of The Beatles. Throwing his hand in the ring to countless projects. Most recently lending a hand to Foo Fighters (also touring Australia in the coming months) latest album Concrete and Gold. On top of all this, he is a two time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And has also boasted a whopping 21 Grammy awards.

With such a massive gap between Sir Pauls last visit here, he is going to have a monsterous back catalogue to wow crowds with. Throwing some of the best live shows in rock to this day, and given we may very never see McCartney, let alone any Beatle hit our shores ever again, this is not a show to miss.

Paul McCartney will play Suncorp Stadium Saturday 9 December.

Tickets are available now through Frontier Touring now.
