Pharrell Williams venue upgraded to Riverstage

He made Meryl Streep shimmy when he performed at the Academy Awards in front of millions of viewers and this week he hits Brisbane for a special performance. And the venue has just been upgraded to the Riverstage to cope with the massive sales in tickets.

He’s Pharrell Williams. He has three of the biggest selling singles of 2013 and has set the internet ablaze after killer performances at the Oscars and Academy Awards. Just recently releasing his first solo album in 8 years, he’s in the country as part of Future Music Festival. And we have two double passes to give away (see below).

Joining Pharrell at his upcoming Brisbane show is a performer who absolutely floored it at FMF Brisbane and Perth – “Harlem Shake” maestro Baauer. The trap producer landed the most streamed song of 2013 (clocking in a giant 438,450,000 streams) with the genius earworm, while his DJ sets on FMF’s Haunted House Arena blew everyone’s mind on site. Together with the hottest name in music, Baauer’s inclusion on the Brisbane bill at Riverstage means one giant party!

Also joining the Pharrell Brisbane bill is triple j presenter and all round superstar DJ Nina Las Vegas. Half Egyptian, half Wagga Wagga, tens of thousands of listeners tune into triple j to catch Nina every Saturday night as she spins the latest club joints and party winners on “House Party” – every Saturday from 6pm. She also hosts Mix Up Exclusives from 9pm – bringing exclusive mixes from some of the biggest names in the international dance game to triple j listeners. When she’s not behind the decks in the studio, the Sydney DJ can be found criss-crossing the country presenting club nights – check out her latest mixes here.
