Australia’s newest touring festival, The Drop, is gearing up to kick off this Saturday 17 March, hitting the shores of D’Bah near Snapper Rocks, alongside the Australian leg of the World Surf League Championship Tour.
It’s no secret that music and surfing go hand in hand, so it’s a no-brainer that a music festival should (excuse the pun) jump on board to follow the tour. The Drop will appeal to surfing and music fans alike, showcasing local culture, food and beverage vendors and a shared love of the ocean.
The Drop founding partner and Australian surfing legend Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew said “Super pumped for the next couple weeks of hosting the best of the best in Cooly and around the country. My son told me his whole class is coming to The Drop. Now I know for sure the line-up of talent is sick!!!!”
And who is on the lineup? None other than Aussie festival faves Safia (pictured), supported by Dune Rats, San Cisco, Holy Holy and Ruby Fields.
There are only a handful of final release tickets left, so to nab yours hit up moshtix, or phone 1300 GET TIX (438 849).
