The Kitchens, Robina Town Centre is set to take diners on a culinary journey of discovery this week with the launch of its very first Food Safari event.
Taking place on Friday 5 May from 6.00pm, foodies will be taken on a progressive dinner throughout the vibrant dining destination, where they will be treated to an evening of mouth-watering cuisine from all corners of the globe – from modern Australian to Japanese eats, South American street fare, traditional Thai dishes, and even vegan delights.
With a ticket as their dining passport, guests will explore Level Four of The Kitchens and experience its ‘up late’ dining offer in the company of a knowledgeable tour guide, while talented local musos provide the perfect soundtrack to the evening.
Commencing at popular indoor-outdoor eatery Honeyeater Kitchen, Trent Scarr and his team will serve up masterfully crafted canapés and cocktails before diners split into two groups and head onto the next stop of their food safari.
Entrees will be Asian inspired, with Hero Sushi Platinum and Chong Co Thai Restaurant & Bar set to dish up a delicious combination of modern and classic flavours in a casual setting.
For the (first) main event, authentic South American street food is the star, with Fiery Deli transporting diners to Venezuela where arepas, empanadas and other Latin delights will spice things up.
Saiko Teppanyaki will meanwhile treat guests to dinner and a show as masterful teppanyaki chefs dice, slice, flip and grill a drool-worthy Japanese feast in front of their eyes.
Dessert fans will relish the final stop of the food safari, with plant based foodie hub Elixiba set to impress with its vegan, gluten free and raw dessert offer, while dedicated espresso martini bar, Crafted Coffee Co, will shake things up with its coffee-infused cocktails and treats – the ultimate Friday night indulgence.
Tickets cost $50 per person and include a welcome drink, canapés, entrée, main and dessert, plus an exclusive The Kitchens gift bag.
