Award winning electronic group The Prodigy will be heading down under in January for a much-anticipated tour. Previously scheduled to tour in 2016 with Soundwave Festival, which was eventually cancelled, they’re back in 2019 promoting their recently released seventh studio album ‘No Tourists.’
Hailing from England, The Prodigy first emerged on the underground rave scene in the early 1990s with bangers like ‘Breathe’ and ‘Firestarter’. Almost 30 years later, Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim still have it dropping hard hitting singles this year ‘Need Some1’ and ‘Light Up The Sky’.
Supporting the tour will be Australian DJ Enschway and Perth-born DJ ShockOne. Queensland fans will be in for a treat as The Prodigy hit Brisbane’s Riverstage on Australia Day public holiday, 28th January. With a reputation as one of the most successful electronic acts of all time, it will be an Australia Day to remember. Tix here.
