Giddy up and take a trip down the dusty back roads with the evocative sounds of ‘Sedona’, a delightful slice of aural wonderment by adventurous eight piece Brisbane collective, The Steele Syndicate.
The band’s smashing new single traverse a range of exotic moods, from its spaghetti western, Ennio Morricone channeling beginnings through to 70’s funk and groovy Latin Jazz , interspersed with elements of rousing rock and moody sound vistas.
Created by lead singer and songwriter Steele McMahon while traversing the wide open spaces of the USA, ‘Sedona’ was engineered and produced by Tyson Ruth at Studio Truth in Brisbane and mastered by Brock Weston. It serves as a fine lead in to the band’s eclectic new EP of the same name, which has just come out.
So saddle up and mosey on down to Bond University this Sunday, 4 November, when the band are sure to dazzle and delight when they hit the stage between 3pm and 5pm, together with Vaudeville Smash.
