No band likes to postpone sold-out gigs, but post-hardcore California four-piece Thrice have had to do just that. February 2019’s previously planned Australian tour has been moved to May 2019, due to a scheduling conflict.
All tickets purchased remain valid, including for the already sold out Melbourne event, and ticket holders need to do nothing other than turn up on the new date with their existing ticket to be admitted. For those who want them, refunds are available from point of purchase until 4 December.
Thrice’s newest offering, ‘Palms’, is filled with great tracks lamenting the state of todays world, and offering advice on improvements, backed by 20 years of experience rocking out audiences and albums. Tracks’The Grey’, ‘Just Breathe’ and ‘Hold Up a Light’ are highlights bringing musical counterpoint between the emotively heavy ballad and the pumping hardcore anthem.
Thrice now play the Triffid, Brisbane on Saturday 18 May 2019. Tickets are still available from oztix.com.
