UB40’s November show moved to Miami Marketta

After capacity restrictions on the Cooly Hotel, UB40’s November Gold Coast show has been upsized to the larger Miami Marketta.
This announcement follows news that the band’s Brisbane and Fremantle shows have sold out. In addition to those cities, UB40 will also stop in at Adelaide, Melbourne, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle and Cairns.

Organisers said tickets already purchased for the previous Cooly Hotel location will automatically be transferred to the Marketta show.With nearly four decades of success that has spanned over forty hit singles, international stadium tours, festival headline slots and the dramatic departure of long time lead singer Ali Campbell back in 2008. The the remaining founding members, and principle songwriters, joined by new lead vocalist Duncan Campbell, have moved forward flourishing as they go, and keeping the UB40legacy alive and well.UB40 are Robin Campbell (co-lead vocals and guitar), Duncan Campbell (lead vocals) Earl Falconer (bass, vocal), Brian Travers (sax and keyboards), Jimmy Brown (drums), Norman Hassan (percussion, vocals).
