Art meets Science Exhibition returns for 2018

The seventh annual Art Meets Science Exhibition returns this August to the EcoSciences Precinct at Dutton Park, and registrations are now open.

This is your chance to view exciting digital interactive work; performance; visual art; and sculpture from 22 leading and emerging Queensland artists working in the nexus between art and science.

Four independent artists and five artists from the Bloom Collective will present the outcomes of their six month residency as part of the Artist in Residence Science (AIRS) Program with the Science Division of the Department of Environment and Science.

They will be joined by 13 other artists who will showcase their recent artworks that demonstrate a specific art-science connection. Light refreshments will be served.

The 2018 Art meets Science exhibition will be open 7.30am-5.00pm, Monday–Friday from 10 August until noon 7 September 2018. Closed EKKA Show Holiday – Wednesday 15 August 2018.

Please register to attend this exhibition opening by 5.00pm Friday 10 August.
