Flagship Gold Coast dance company The Farm is excited to present Bare Bones 2020, a three day Dance Festival bringing National and International artists together.
In partnership with Supercell Festival of Contemporary Dance, Bare Bones 2020 has assembled an impressive line up from around the globe, featuring Byström Källblad (Sweden), Kyle Page (Townsville, Australia), Aleksandra Borys (Poland), Liesel Zink (Brisbane, Australia) and The Farm (Berlin, Germany and Gold Coast, Australia) with more to be announced.
Based on the Gold Coast with roots in Berlin, The Farm is an international network of highly respected artists, ranging from choreographers and independent dancers to musicians and designers.
With a strong focus on what it is to be an artist in the world today, The Farm are aiming to provide not only a cultural event but also one which provides festival-goers an opportunity to expand their knowledge and heighten their senses of the industry at large.
By offering extra curriculum activities such as technique classes from leading practitioners, intensive research workshops focusing on the mind and the body, studio showings and discussions, Bare Bones 2020 is about bringing people together through the arts.
Bare Bones will take place from February 21 – 23. Applications to participate are open until 29 January.
