One full week ahead of its opening, the BIGSOUND conference and industry event has completely sold out.
That means grabbing a BIGSOUND Live ticket is now your only way to rub shoulders with the who’s who of Australia’s music industry.
1200 delegates from here and abroad make up the audience for the BIGSOUND industry conference, but as well as hearing from engaging speakers, they’re also in town to hear the best of Australia’s musical talent as part of the BIGSOUND Live component of the event.
150 bands make up the BIGSOUND Live bill which runs across 15 venues in Fortitude Valley across 9 – 10 September. And do I need to repeat, grabbing a BIGSOUND Live ticket is now the only way you’ll get to meet the cream of Australia’s music industry as well.
The lineup includes Gang of Youths, Holy Holy, Katy Steele, Stonefield (pictured), Cosmic Psychos, High Tension, The John Steel Singers, Tijuana Cartel and 142 other acts.
BIGSOUND Live also welcomes triple j Unearthed winners, hip hop star-in-waiting Gill Bates and shoegaze/noisepop band DEAFCULT to the line up along with last minute additions Kingfisha and Gabriella Cohen.
BIGSOUND has long been the breeding ground for some of the biggest Australian acts of the last decade, with national and international industry and punters converging on Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley to scout the next big thing. BIGSOUND alumni includes Courtney Barnett, Flume, Seth Sentry, Sheppard, The Jezabels, The Naked and Famous, The Temper Trap, The Aston Shuffle, The Church, Adalita, Ball Park Music, Jungle Giants, Boy & Bear, Clare Bowditch, David Bridie, Closure in Moscow, Kingswood, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Megan Washington, with nearly a thousand bands playing over BIGSOUND’s fourteen year history.
BIGSOUND industry and conference tickets have now sold out and the final round of BIGSOUND Live tickets are available now through Oztix for only $45 plus BF.
