Cindy Jensen, the brains behind Buskers by the Creek said it was easy to keep coming up with new ideas for the event.

“Seriously, there is so much talent out there,” she said. “The challenge isn’t about finding weird and wonderful people to join the program. It’s about finding room to fit them all into one park.”

The event, which runs Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October plays out across 13 stages in one of the world’s most idyllic sun-filled backdrops – our backyard – Currumbin Creek.

“Buskers by the Creek really encapsulates the best of the Gold Coast and the best of family entertainment,” she said. “We have tonnes of local acts as well as visiting talent, including our first international performer in Kenta Hayashi.”

“We fill up Winders Park with everything from ukuleles to juggling, fire twirling to sword-swallowing, guitarists, singer-songwriters, country, funk, folk, food and drink.”
