Brisbane’s favourite, make that Australia’s favourite, rockers Violent Soho have announced yet another national run of regional and capital city tour dates for the later half of the year.
The announcement comes on the back of their hugely successful album “Hungry Ghost” hitting gold sales status in Australia. The album is due to hit overseas markets early next year.
Heres’s what their label I OH YOU had to say about the big news,
“Every once in a while, those who choose to fight the good fight rise above the surface and have a little victory. Today that victory belongs to Violent Soho.
For some time now we have had the pleasure of working closely with the four legends from Mansfield who make up Violent Soho. They’ve become our close friends and their relentless perseverance, unshakeable friendship and unwavering belief in their art is a constant inspiration to everyone at I OH YOU.
Today it is with great pleasure we announce that Violent Soho’s ‘Hungry Ghost’ LP has achieved gold status in Australia and congratulate the band on this achievement. We couldn’t be more proud of the guys or feel more honoured to have played a small part in the band’s life over the last few years… and we certainly couldn’t be anymore psyched to see what the future holds.
In celebration of this news, Violent Soho have just announced the ‘No Sleep Til Mansfield’ tour for November/December. The tour will see the band play in all capital cities across Australia and a hoard of regional dates. Hit up www.violentsoho.com for all the details – it going to be wild.
Thank you for the support and don’t stop fighting the good fight.”
Violent Soho play the Gold Coast at the Coolangatta Hotel Saturday November 8.
