Evol Walks go worldwide with new management deal

One of Gold Coast’s hard-hitting exports, five-piece Evol Walks have announced a new worldwide management deal from their new hometown of Los Angeles.

The signing with Rick Sales and Adam Mott of Rick Sales entertainment signals a big step forward for the band, led by fiery Gold Coaster Leah Martin-Brown. Evol Walks have spent the past year touring up and down the west coast of the USA building a solid fan base and clocking up serious stage-house.

A performance in the Viper Room, West Hollywood was the one that caught the attention of Rick Sales who boasts an impressive roster of talent that includes Slayer, Mastodon, Ghost, Gojira and We Came as Romans.

Leah says it’s a dream come true.

“Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think we would be sharing a manager with heavyweights like Slayer, Gojira and Ghost and we are very excited for the future and what this will mean for Evol Walks.”

Rick Sales said it was a pleasure to be working with Leah – one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming singers.

“She is a gifted artist, with a unique voice that totally captivates everyone in the audience. Evol Walks’ future looks very promising, and we cannot wait for it,” Rick said.

Having largely been based in Los Angeles, Evol Walks have performed at popular Sunset Strip (Hollywood, USA) hangs such as House Of Blues, The Rainbow Room, The Whisky a Go Go and The Viper Room, and have been aptly crowned as a band to watch by industry peers.

In 2015 they released their debut EP which spawned the single Buzzed – considered one of the top four releases to commercial radio by The Music Network. Their singles have been embraced by Triple M, they toured Australia twice and were invited to perform on the main stage in front of 250,000 at Prystanek Woodstock. Leah even managed to squeeze in a trip to her hometown to attend the Gold Coast Music Awards where her band Evol Walks was a finalist for Artist of the Year.

Whilst continuing to perform shows in Los Angeles, Evol Walks are currently in the recording studio working on new material for their upcoming EP due for release in early 2017.

We cannot wait.
