Buskers by the Creek is our favourite Gold Coast event.
Apart from the fact that it’s completely free. Apart from the fact there were 280+ performers this year. Apart from the fact it’s in one of the most idyllic creekside locations in the world. Apart from all of that, they go and put a half-pipe in the creek with BMX performers and a live fire show to wrap it all up.
Not to mention the world record attempt to sky dive and land on the back of a moving jet ski.
There was a man riding a 8ft unicycle juggling a chainsaw.
Right before he swallowed four swords.
From kids to uke orchestras, loop pedal masters to good ol’ funk, Buskers by the Creek has once again delivered so much bang for buck.
It’s hard to imagine what might be in store for next year. But we know Director Cindy Jensen and we’re not even going to hazard a guess.
Epic thanks to Sam Gilmore Photography for these photographic highlights.
Until next year.
