Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival 2017: Under the radar

Now in its second year, the Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival is set to bring a range of events to the length of the Gold Coast over one tasty weekend in June. As well as big show-stoppers such as the Opening Night featuring Lindey Milan and Picnic in the Park, there are a range of more specialised events for food, wine, beer, and Gold Coast produce lovers alike. We took a look at a few of them.

Instagram Meetup at NightQuarter

Calling all #igers! NightQuarter is a mecca of food and fun. With an impressive lineup of festival style eats and Insta-worthy dishes, it’s the must-do destination on the Gold Coast to satisfy your cravings for #foodporn. Headliners include funnel cakes, ice cream sliders, ramen, tornado potatoes, freakshakes and cronuts. There are ample opportunities for cheese-pulls and holding sprinkle-covered-treats in the air, so get ready for #instagood times.

Local Flavour

Local flavour at Burleigh Brewing will combine three of the Gold Coast’s best elements into one fantastic day. Take Burleigh Brewing’s world class craft beers (and some great Queensland wine to boot), some famous street food trucks as well as live music from local artists to create a true feast for the senses.
Burleigh Brewing will be offering free tours of the brewery at specific times throughout the event.

Dessert Tour
