Gold Coast open mic and jam nights

Open mic and jam nights are vital to a vibrant local music scene. They offer emerging musicians the chance to try songs out in front of a warm-hearted audience, and they help people learn about sound, lighting and production before performing professionally at paid gigs.

Many experienced musicians credit open mic and jam nights with helping them find their feed on the performance front as well as allowing time and space to hone their stage craft and audience interaction.

It’s hard to imagine a live music scene without open mic nights or community jams and the Gold Coast is blessed to have so many options in a bunch of very supportive live music venues.
