Rufus Du Sol label signees Lastlings show promising signs for what’s to come from Gold Coast’s vibrant music scene and the city’s talents at their hometown show at Miami Marketta. The sibling duo exhibited veteran-like confidence, especially after supporting Rufus Du Sol across their American and Australian tour dates. Their dancey, electronic set-list was well crafted, maintaining the crowd’s energy and mood throughout the night. Amy Dowdle moved across the stage as she gave out her soulfoul vocals, while Josh Dowdle smoothly transitioned between his electronic guitar and drum pads. Fans were treated to their recent singles ‘De Ja Vu’ and ‘I’ve Got You’ as well as snippets of their upcoming releases from their debut album, which we should expect in the near future.
For those of you who missed out, don’t worry because these siblings will make their much anticipated debut at Splendour in The Grass. If Friday’s show was any indicator, these siblings are destined to perform on the biggest stage, gaining more and more fans along the way.
