Coming into a show on a Monday night we weren’t quite sure how the crowd would be, but the Soundlounge assured all through Facebook updates that tickets were getting near selling out, leading up to the night.
They weren’t wrong either.
On arrival there was a line out the door and up the stairs and the crowd was one of the most diverse I’d seen at a gig for a very long time. Steel Pulse have been around for just over 40 years and by the looks of it have had no problems keeping up with their loyal fans not to mention attracting many new fans in the last decade.
The Grammy-Award winning UK reggae band took the stage, 8 people all up, with a message of Love and Justice – they have been called the best live reggae band on the planet and watching them you can see why. They clearly still love what they do and it is infectious.
