That’s right, you read the title correctly. Unfortunately for all of you laid back ticket buyers, the English indie rock trio London Grammar have sold out every show in Australia. Their 5 date stopover sees them play Perth’s Redhill Auditorium in a matter of days before dropping by Riverstage in Brisbane on Saturday March 7 and closing up the tour with two nights in Sydney then their final show at Festival Hall in Melbourne. Dan Rothman, the brainchild behind the guitarwork in London Grammar spoke to me recently about their plans for 2015 and beyond, which you can read here.
Their Australian tour sees another English band Until The Ribbon Breaks, who have been gathering rave reviews worldwide and have previously collaborated with hip-hop heavyweights Run The Jewels. Brooklyn 3-piece WET are coming down under with their own unique blend of low-fi pop and a sprinkling of sharp, emotive vocals.
Their last show was in California, USA, and just for all the fans with tickets, we’ve got the setlist below to give you a taste of what to expect when they touch down in Australia.
