American alternative prog rockers Circa Survive (pictured) have announced a tour for September in support of their latest epic album Descensus with support from Pvris. They’ll hit The Met in Brisbane on Friday 18 September and it’s all ages!

One of the Gold Coast’s best live acts The Green Whistle are preparing to release their much anticipated full length and as yet untitled follow up to debut EP The Child-Proof Spectacular. Those who have been lucky enough to hear a sneak preview of the album have said that it is amazing! Keep an eye on the band’s social media pages for news about the imminent release.

Rammstein  frontman Till Lindemann has teamed up with Hypocrisy/Pain main man Peter Tägtgren for his first solo project Lindemann. The album Skills in Pills is set to be released on 19 June and will be his first full length English speaking release.

Melbourne’s epic rock favourites Jericco will hit the road in support of their critically acclaimed second album machine made the animal and will play the Crowbar in Brisbane on 29 May 29. Tickets are on sale now through Oztix and will see support slots by Aerials, Guards of May and Gold Coast legends King Mungi!

Just when you thought the Nuclear Blast label roster couldn’t get any bigger, Grammy-nominated, chart-topping heavy rock band LAMB OF GOD are set to release their much anticipated seventh studio album VII: Sturm und Drang through the label in July. Nuclear Blast are already the home to some of the biggest names in rock and metal such as Slayer, Machine Head, Soulfly, Nightwish, Cradle Of Filth and Fear Factor just to name a few. Mind blowing stuff!

The Gold Coast’s favourite metal sons Azreal will follow up their appearance at Wallapalooza with a headline show at Currumbin creek Tavern on Friday 26 June. Joining them will be Boned, progressive symphonic death metal masters Kaerulean and new comers Snake Mountain.

After an amazing year of tour announcements so far Soundworks touring have dropped a massive tour for Late September and early October.The mighty Behemoth will return to our shores with Watain and Bölzer and will play the newly renamed Hifi Max Watts in Brisbane on 1 October.
