Northern NSW quartet off to Canada: The Black Lullaby

North Coast NSW indie rock quartet The Black Lullaby have been selected to showcase at Canadian Music Week 2014.
The band was chosen from thousands of international applicants and will be performing alongside M.I.A., City and Colour, Tegan and Sara, You Am I and other amazing artists from all over the world.

Now in its 32nd year, Canadian Music Week  is recognised as one of the premier entertainment events in North America focusing on the business of music. The festival spans 5 nights of performances, with 1,000 showcasing bands at more than 60 live music venues in downtown Toronto.

The Lismore band recently released their sophomore self-titled EP produced by ARIA award nominee Lachlan Mitchell (the Jezabels, The Whitlams).  They also premiered their new single “Fell in Love with a Rockstar” at the inaugural Byron Bay Falls Festival over new years 2013/14.
Talent only gets you so far though, and the eager artists need to pay their own way for the week-long event in Canada. As artists the world over do, they’re asking you to help. And you can do so in two ways. You can join a party with music, beer and food or you can make a donation.
The party takes place Saturday 12 April and you can get all the details from Lucas 0437 040 969.
Or you can donate. Give generously.
