One year of waterfront events for Nautic Giants

Nautic Giants mark one year of waterfront events with a stack of bands at Fisherman’s Wharf this Sunday afternoon.

Salvadarlings, Von Villains and Donny Love provide live sounds before sunset, when Bag Raiders take things full circle.

The dance-pop duo Bag Raiders founded in 2006, released a self-titled album which peaked at number 7 on the ARIA Albums Chart and their track Shooting Stars reached number 18 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 2009. They’ve also appeared at Stereosonic and headlined the inaugural Nautic Gaints event this year.

The Nautic Giants events are co-presented by a bunch of local, independent businesses: Black Coffee Lyrics, Cubic Collective, Crave Yard and About A Girl. The one year anniversary celebrates an incredible year with eight events which have featured the likes of Classics (USA), Motez’ first GC show, Nina Las Vegas, The Aston Shuffle, K.I.M from The Presets and a heap more.

One of the things we like about this Sunday session is that the main act plays at dusk, with the whole shebang wrapping up by 9.00pm so that we can all scurry back to work the next morning.

Get tickets here or from Cubic Collective, Crave Yard or elsewhere’s reception.
