Alternative Aussie music legends are all set to party like it’s 1994.
Cast your mind back to the 1990s when grunge, indie and rock were in their prime, beers were $3.50 and there was new music aplenty. Well, the price of beer may have tripled, however, the bands we loved in the nineties are still playing and in June, are set to feed our nostalgia.
Spring Loaded, taking place at the Sandstone Point Hotel, features a stellar line-up of the bands that were the soundtrack of our younger years. Something for Kate, Tumbleweed, Jebediah, Spiderbait, Custard, Screamfeeder, Frenzal Rhomb and Mark Seymour and the Undertow will be taking us back to a place where the Australian music scene was raw, grungy and very much alive. Akin to the Big Day Outs we all lament the loss of, Spring Loaded is sure to be a music event that will leave us reminiscing about the good old days and rocking out to some quality Australian bands that continue to be household names.
Spring Loaded 2019 will take over Sandstone Point Hotel, Queensland on Saturday 22 June. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com.au.
